Her wings have been made out of a soft true vintage 1940s 100% cotton velvet.
Please note that Marisol's wings have significant weathering / distressing to the velvet, which give them a fluffy, mossy look which I hope is well represented by my amateur photography!
She has been carefully decorated with vintage glass beads and the most beautiful little faux Hydrangea flowers from a 1960s "fascinator" style headpiece.
Her antennae are wool-wrapped and can be gently re-posed.
Her eyes are faceted Czech glass beads, and her body is Schulte German Mohair (goat's wool!)
All of Clover & Moth's moths are filled with natural, biodegradable corn fiber filling and have an internal wire frame. They have a small metal D-loop on the back to hang, and a flat metal plate perfect for adding velcro tape if you'd prefer.
