This hand-crafted textile art moth wall decoration is #8 of the "Umeshu" collection.
The wings have been made out of a stunning up-cycled 1980s vintage brocade fabric, with a black and gold woven floral pattern and under-lying splashes of plum, pink and teal jewel tones which shimmer and change depending on the viewing angle.
The body is made out of hand dyed Schulte Steiff German mohair, and the eyes are faceted Czech glass beads.
The body is filled with natural Eucalyptus fiber filling, has an interior wire frame, and a small D-loop on the back to hang and display.
